Connect Google Search Console so Breakout workflows can read search performance, sitemap, and URL index-status data for verified properties.
Prerequisites
Use a Google account that has access to the Search Console property your workflows will analyze.
Confirm that the website property is verified in Search Console.
Breakout can only read properties the connected account can access.
Permission requested
Google permission | Why Breakout needs it |
Read search performance, sitemap, and URL index-status data without changing Search Console settings. |
Allowing Breakout to access Google Search Console
Click Connect on the Google Search Console card.
Allow the Google approval window to open.
Sign in to the Google account with Search Console access.
Review the requested Search Console read permission.
Approve the connection.
Verifying the connection
The Google Search Console card should show as connected. Test with a read-only query for a known site property.
If the site is missing, confirm that the exact Search Console property exists and that the connected Google account has access to it.
Disconnecting or reconnecting to Google Search Console
Disconnect when:
Changing the Google account
Removing Search Console access
Switching the website property owner
Important: Disconnecting stops future Search Console reads through Breakout. It does not change Search Console data.
