Outreach

Connect Outreach so Breakout can read Outreach users, sequences, prospects, accounts, and enroll approved prospects into Outreach sequences.

Prerequisites

  • Use an Outreach account with access to the sequences, prospects, accounts, and mailboxes your workflows need.

  • If workflows enroll prospects, the connected user must be allowed to create or update prospects and add them to the intended sequences.

  • Confirm that the target Outreach sequences are active and that their IDs or names match your workflow configuration.

Allowing Breakout to access Outreach

  1. Click your name to navigate to Settings

  2. Click Integrations and then toggle the switch on in the Outreach card.

  3. Sign in to Outreach.

  4. Review and approve the requested permissions.

Return to Breakout and wait for the Outreach integration to show as Connected. It may take a few minutes for the status to update on the Integrations page.

  • If the Outreach approval window closes but the integration still doesn't show as connected, refresh the Integrations page.

  • If Outreach still appears as Disconnected, reconnect the integration and make sure you complete the Outreach approval process successfully.

Verifying the connection

  • The Outreach card should show as connected. Run a low-risk workflow that lists Outreach sequences or checks a known prospect.

  • If a sequence cannot be found, verify the workflow's provider sequence ID and confirm that the connected Outreach account can access that sequence.

Disconnecting or reconnecting Outreach

Disconnect in these cases:

  • Wrong Outreach user authorized the integration

  • OAuth grant was revoked

  • Need a different account to own sequence operations

Reconnect using the correct Outreach account.
