Hubspot

Connect HubSpot so Breakout can read CRM objects, lists, contacts, companies, and write approved CRM updates when workflows require them.

Prerequisites

  • Use a Hubspot user who has the permissions required to install apps and grant the permissions required by your workflows.

  • Read-only workflows need access to the relevant CRM objects and lists. Workflows that create or update records need write permissions in HubSpot.

  • If your Hubspot account uses app approval or marketplace restrictions, ask a Hubspot super admin to approve the app first.

Allowing Breakout to access Hubspot

  1. Click your name to navigate to Settings

  2. Click Integrations and then toggle the switch on in the Hubspot card.

The Hubspot OAuth Bridge window opens.

  3. Click Sign-in to your Hubspot account.

  1. Sign in to HubSpot.

  2. Choose the correct HubSpot account.

  3. Review the requested permissions and approve the app.

forms

Read HubSpot forms for marketing and conversion context.

Return to Breakout and wait for the Hubspot integration to show as Connected. It may take a few minutes for the status to update on the Integrations page.

  • If the Hubspot approval window closes but the integration still doesn't show as connected, refresh the Integrations page.

  • If Hubspot still appears as Disconnected, reconnect the integration and make sure you complete the Hubspot approval process successfully.

Verifying the connection

Once the Hubspot card shows as connected. Test with a workflow that searches Hubspot records or reads Hubspot lists.

If records are missing, verify that the connected HubSpot user can see those records directly in Hubspot.

Disconnecting or reconnecting Hubspot

Disconnect in these cases:

  • Selected the wrong HubSpot account

  • Connected user's permissions changed

  • OAuth grant needs to be rotated

Reconnect with the correct Hubspot account from the Integrations page in Breakout.
