Enable Google Chrome banners in Windows
Windows often silences "pop-up" banners, sending them straight to the hidden Action Center. To enable Google Chrome Banners in Windows, follow these steps:
Open Settings by pressing the Windows Key + I
Click Go to System > Notifications
To find Google Chrome, scroll down to "Notifications from apps" and click Google Chrome
Ensure that "Show notification banners" is checked. (Important: If this is off, you won't see the pop-up)
Set priority by changing "Priority of notifications" to High so our alerts aren't buried
For more information, see the official Microsoft Guide help article
Turn off "Do Not Disturb" on the Windows OS
If you see the moon icon in your taskbar, Windows is blocking all alerts and Do Not Disturb is turned on. To turn off Do Not Disturb, follow these steps:

Ensure "Do Not Disturb" is turned OFF by toggling the switch to OFF
Tip: If you use "Focus" modes, add Chrome to your "Priority List" in Windows Settings.
Make alerts stay visible longer
By default, Windows hides alerts after only 5 seconds. You can extend this by following these steps:
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Visual effects
Change "Dismiss notifications after this amount of time" to 1 minute or 5 minutes
