Nudges are proactive messages that appear on your website to engage visitors at the right moment. You can customize what they say, when they appear, and what action they prompt the visitor to take.
Navigate to Blocks → Nudges → Create New Nudge to get started.
Nudge Details
Configure the basic settings for your nudge:
Name — Used for internal reference only. Visitors will not see this.
Priority — If multiple nudges are eligible to show at the same time, priority determines which one wins. P0 is the highest priority.
Duration (ms) — How long the nudge stays visible before automatically disappearing. The default is 10,000ms (10 seconds).
Position — Where the nudge appears on screen. The default is Bottom Right.
Conditions
Define when a nudge should be shown. By default, a nudge with no conditions will always be shown to every visitor.
To target specific visitors, click + Add to set up conditions using variables and operators. For example:
Show a nudge only to visitors from a specific country
Trigger a nudge based on the current page URL
Target visitors from a particular company or traffic source
Conditions give you precise control over who sees each nudge and when.
Nudge Text
Enter the message that will be displayed in the nudge. You have two options:
Static — Write a fixed message. You can enrich it with dynamic variables (like visitor name, company, country, or current page URL) by typing { or clicking + Add Variable.
LLM Generated — Instead of writing the final message, you write a prompt. The AI uses that prompt along with any variables you include to dynamically generate the nudge copy for each visitor. This is useful when you want personalized messaging at scale.
CTAs (Call to Actions)
Add one or more buttons to your nudge to drive visitor action. Each CTA has three fields:
CTA Text — The label shown on the button (e.g., "Talk to us", "Book a demo")
Associated Block — The action that happens when the visitor clicks:
Ask AI — Opens the AI chat and sends a message on the visitor's behalf
Book a Meeting — Opens the meeting booking form
Live Chat — Connects the visitor with a live representative
Content to send on click — For Ask AI CTAs, specify the text that gets sent into the chat when clicked. This can be static text or LLM generated.
If no CTAs are added, the nudge will display as a message only with no clickable actions.
Asset
Optionally attach an image or video to display alongside the nudge. Click + Add in the Asset section to upload or select your media.
Previewing Your Nudge
Once all parameters are filled in and saved, use the Preview button on the right panel to see how the nudge will look before it goes live.
Use the Published toggle at the top right to control whether the nudge is active on your site.
Note: You can always come back and edit a nudge after creation. We recommend testing nudges with a limited condition set before rolling them out broadly.
